Will I at least get kissed this time?

Assault on America: Day 50

Well, we are half way through the honeymoon, but I'm not “feeling the love.” Like a saudi prince enjoying western decadence; finds a western woman who believes his lies and perhaps wants his money, is willing to convert, and is then forced to put on a burkha and live in the harem with all the other stupid women (chattel); American's bought into Change and Hope, only to be told to put their Hope in effete tax cheats running this country and expected to Change the congressional alimentary canal diaper...unconstrained appetite on one end, and irresponsible on the other. Presidential full frontal progressive policy nudity (despite the best pectorals ever in a president the fawning media tells us) is beginning to look less like a lover and more like a combination flasher pervert and pickpocket.

While treating our best ally like a two-bit hooker, the president has unilaterally traded away our defense (TBMD in Europe) for nothing to get concessions from a bunch of communist gangsters. Whether the world liked us or not, they respected our strength under President Bush. The world is now laughing at us: North Koreans are preparing to launch missiles, PLA-N is harassing our unarmed research vessels (Pueblo anyone?) on the high seas, petty potentates (Syria) is telling us to deal directly with terrorist groups (Hamas & Hezbollah).

News from the pentagon isn't encouraging either. Navy is giving up an aircraft carrier and an air wing (not that we will need it with all of the love the world has for us these days), Air Force is being told to forgo tankers for another five years (good thing we still have all those aircraft carriers) and cancel new bomber plans, Army Future Combat Systems is in the cross hairs, and our joint Ballistic Missile Defense program is not long for this world.

Left media cheering section retorts of: "Have your taxes gone up?" or "What has the President done that you like?" are interesting but red herrings in this debate.

Like the college (or high school) senior scoring as many freshman girls as possible, he keeps going out on the TV and tells us how much he loves us while having his way. My guess is we are pregnant...perhaps not showing it yet, but fully pregnant none the less. The stock market continues to vote a resounding NO. This baby will come to term and deliver...similar to the movie teaser from a 70's horror flick...”there is only one thing wrong with the Davis (Obama) baby, it's alive.” Someone has to do something about this thing (pay the tax bill) when it finally arrives.

This isn't very comforting, particularly since prophylactics cannot stop AIDS transmission, so in addition to being pregnant, we may also be terminal.

The Gipper

Assault on America Day 48

The messiah continues his assault on the Constitution, Federalism, Taxpayers, and Morality.

During a short operational pause from spending our grandchildren's money to allow for congress to catch up (although there appear to be enough RINO turncoats look to end that pause and pass the rest of the federal budget tomorrow). A second front has been opened in order to spend more of our money - WAIT, maybe it's not an operational pause after all - today another far left position was couched in 'Reagan-esque' language. This time, the unborn are directly in his sights. He dramatically expanded Bush limited government effort (no limits on private effort - it just doesn't work, so there is no significant private effort) to one that allows for everything and everything, all at tax payer expense. Unfortunately, cloning specifically remains on the table...

Not wasting a crisis, OB envisioned progressive (had to get it in at least once) government continues to expand, with the strategic goal of moving into every corner of our lives and making us dependent (slaves in a Nanny State 'matrix'). I just want to know how he did it without an "off site" this time? I wonder if they do the obligatory team building exercises at presidential off sites?

Where can we find a model for government action that works each and every time it is tried? The Gipper of course! And, in a speech from 1964 no less.

Inheriting the last great economic crisis in 1981, President Reagan said, "We who live in free market societies believe that growth, prosperity and ultimately human fulfillment are created from the bottom up, not the government down. Only when the human spirit is allowed to invent and create, only when individuals are given a personal stake in deciding economic policies and benefiting from their success -- only then can societies remain economically alive, dynamic, progressive, and free. ... Only private industry in the last analysis can provide jobs with a future. ... The fact is, we'll never build a lasting economic recovery by going deeper into debt at a faster rate than we ever have before. ... In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."

President Ronald Reagan created the most recent template for economic and moral prosperity, outlined in "A Time for Choosing" and codified in the 1984 Republican Platform. c.f., http://reagan2020.us/speeches/A_Time_for_Choosing.asp. Unlike the recent 60+ minute repetitive offensive BO non-state of the union speech this is a fast 5 mintue read.

Ha! just saw on O'Reilly a CA tax protester: "No Taxation with Crappy Representation. New phrase, same list (of complaints)."
